What Does the Rise of AI Mean For Us?

Class Details

What Does the Rise of AI Mean For Us?

In this seminar, we will have a wide range of conversations about what the rise of Artificial Intelligence — including, but not limited to tools like ChatGPT — mean for us. We will dedicate our time to approaching three big questions:
(a) what does the rise of AI mean for the future of thinking? (b) what does the rise of AI mean for the future of ethics? (c) what does the rise of AI mean for the future of society? Our goal is not to become adopters of the technology or to embrace it whole-heartedly. On the contrary, the goal is to apply our critical thinking skills to something that has already begun to shape the way we live, think, and connect with others.
